標高1,000～1,300mに位置する。編笠山山麓の片斜面テレイン。
多くの陸上選手がトレーニングに利用する「富士見高原リゾート」横に位置する片斜面テレイン。林道も多く発達するが、不整地エリアの斜度が概して低く走行可能度が高いため、タイムを縮めるためには道を利用しない直進技術が要求される。オリエンテーリングクラブトータス保有の「鹿の沢」と隣接しており、接続すると広大なエリア（1:10,000でA3サイズ）でのオリエンテーリングが楽しめる。
